here's the deal gals. we had 177 wonderful oh hey, friday! posts link up last week! it was ridiculously awesome to pop around and read your fives. loved it.
5 SWOON-WORTHY GOODIES FOR MY GAL
i'm a total sucker when it comes to shopping for kaye. i want her to have it all. i want it to be the cutest. i want it to be the best.
so now that i'm having girl #2 this feeling is totally amplified by a million.
this is SO obviously a huge issue for my farmer...but farmer has to learn.
1 gal + 1 gal + 1 mama TOTALLY trumps 1 farmer.
this is my farmer's fate. roll with it, farmer. roll with it.
1 | for startes...my next gal definitely needs this zipper onesie with matching hat from baby gap. i'm confident our farmer won't have issue because he's quite the bike rider himself. as in...on vacation he went on a 50 miler. that's on a road bike folks...no motor.
3 | remember those animal prints that are on kaye's wall? while they are super cute, they scream boy. i'm totally ready to change them out for some pinks and corals. (and while i'm not totally in love with that chicken print...i thought it was funny. i found these goodies in minted's art section.
4 | i think it's pretty obvious that with the cold months of idaho quickly approaching (okay...that's like five months from now) both of my gals are going to need some classic uggs. it's a completely practical/logical purchase for a newborn. (plus, i have a pair myself. now we can all be matchy.)
5 | and naturally, i'm still swooning over every glider and rocker i come across. my latest is an anthro find. isn't it perfectly natural, perfectly classy, and wouldn't it look great in more than just a nursery? totally transitional.
downfall - it's $1700. not in my wildest dreams.
let's do this then - get linked up below and promote your post!
and because i'm a goal-setter by nature, and because the link up has grown each week, we're really hoping to get more fabulous ladies linked up this week. so don't forget to promote your posts!
if you're new to these parts...here's how oh hey, friday! goes down -
1 | write up a little post about five things. anythings. five hot men. five pinterest outfits. five treadmill workouts. five of your favorite recipes...literally anything you want.
2 | head back over here and enter your link at the bottom of this post.
3 | link back to our blogs and add the oh hey, friday! button (found just below) to your post so that others can link up as well! that's it. so get busy.

2 | as i explained yesterday, we didn't find out kaye was a girl until the delivery room. as much fun as that was, i had to decorate her nursery completely gender neutral. our poor gal has been stuck with navy stripes and animals on her wall for nearly two years.
well, since we know T 2.0 is a girl...i'd absolutely love to change a few things out. for starters, i have my eyeball on these two chandeliers from pottery barn. they are perfectly classy and perfectly girly.

Those chandeliers are PERFECT!
ReplyDeleteThose baby Ugg's!!!! OH MERCY!
ReplyDeleteI adore chandeliers, just adore them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing back a fun link up!
Love those prints and how they're girly but not babyish - I might want some for myself!
ReplyDelete1. Obsessed with those chandliers. 100%.
ReplyDelete2. Love that sweet baby Gap outfit... so so so sweet
3. $1700. OUCH. Nice chair... but OUCH!
I love Gap for my daughter and myself. I think their kids clothes run big, but the stuff is adorable and when they have a sale it's amaaaze! I literally buy things years in advance when they do that. Also, Uggs were on my Five On Friday two weeks ago lol. Great minds think alike!!!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH that glider! I need it! Caaaaaan I find it on Craiglist? Probs not.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part of this post has to be: "...but farmer has to learn." Ha! And those lil baby Uggs? Cutest thing ever!
ReplyDeletethose chandeliers are gorgeous! and baby Ugg's...oh my gosh!
ReplyDeleteI all of these things! The fun you are going to have dressing those 2 turtles and you! I am so jealous! The best I can do with Xavier is be in similar colors or maybe a pattern...we have matching purple gingham shirts from J.Crew Factory :) Have a great weekend Karli!
ReplyDeleteWe had a pair of baby Uggs gifted to us when our Dot was born. I made sure that she wore them everywhere because I knew how ungodly expensive they were. But they were pretty adorable, and at least I didn't buy them!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures! ::heart eyes forever:: I love the chicken included in it too; I feel like it brings a little farm life into such a princess nursery!
ReplyDeleteIt should be illegal to make such pretty furniture so expensive!!
ReplyDeleteBaby definitely needs uggs, totally a necessity. ;)
Those little Uggs are so cute! :) And I think those prints would be perfect in her room! That's a crazy price for that chair...maybe you'll find something similar for cheaper!
ReplyDeleteI love those prints! The colors are just great!!!!! Thanks for the link up today! Have a fabulous weekend love! xoxo Caroline
ReplyDeleteThat rocker is GORGEOUS - the price tag not so much. But I can't lie, I'm already dreaming about where I'll put it.
ReplyDeleteI NEED those chandeliers! And that chair! We were gifted some baby Uggs that are freakin adorable. Thing is, they never stayed on her feet. Like ever. I thought they were just too big but nope, her foot just wouldn't stay in and then once she got older she'd just kick them off and chuck them across the room. So very sad, at least we didn't buy them :/
ReplyDeleteAh those chandeliers and prints are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really love those prints...they aren't like anything I have ever seen. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThe rocker is cute! I know for next time though, get one that reclines! I can't tell you how many times I fell asleep in the chair and woke with a sore neck! Ugh!!!
ReplyDeleteHey girl, where are you at in Idaho? I'm in Boise now and will be again Sunday and sun valley in between. I'm here for work but have some down time. Do you recommend anything in either city? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see both girls' rooms! They will be gorgeous, I'm just sure of it!
ReplyDeleteThat onesie! Too adorable-my husband is a bike guy (works at a bike shop and all) so most of the 'I want' items for our kids magically had bike print, just so I could sneak it in!! I started my 5 last night and I am hoping to actually manage to link up TODAY! Ha! :)
ReplyDeleteWe are currently trying this for a rocking chair:

Only like $400 instead of $1200 and looks fairly similar.
I love the prints! And the chandelier is awesome! So glad to finally join the linkup this week! Thank you for hosting it! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the prints and that adorable baby girl outfit!!!! I'm trying really hard (and actually doing a good job) not going into Gap or any other baby stores to buy baby girl clothes. I've actually bought this first baby of mine more books than clothes!!!! =) All the grandmas are having fun buying pink things!!! =) Thanks for the fun link up! I have a fun giveaway coming up on my blog next week so feel free to stop back!
ReplyDeleteMaggie
Sweet Peas and Lucky Honey
Okay I need to go check out those chandy's I have been on the lookout for new lighting in our master and these might be what I have been looking for! Hope they fit my price range $
ReplyDeleteOh that rocker is swoon worthy! I must have it. But not for that price tag! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat rocker is amazing! Totally agree on the price. $1,700 -- just a bit too much :)
ReplyDeletethose prints are too cute! If I had an unlimited flow of money, I would probably live out of the antrho catalogue.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first (top left) image for the pink/corals. They're all beautiful though. Love little abstract prints like that!
ReplyDeletehaha ohmygosh what a beautiful chair!!! Maybe somebody will just give it to you? =) dreams...
ReplyDeleteLove the prints and the chandeliers too. Those would make a spectacular baby room
obsessed with the chandelier and absolutely adore those paintings!!! Seriously, this baby room is going to be ah-maz-ing!
ReplyDeletethe prints are cute I like the color combo! :)
ReplyDeleteThe prints and chandeliers are sooooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteSounds like it's going to be a wonderful ladylike room :D That chair is gorgeous btw but that price tag is crazy. I just came across this Ikea Hack for an almost as gorgeous chair but a fraction of the price and since you have a handy dandy farmer (I have one of my own and they're the best ;) hehe ) I thought perhaps you might be interested in it....
